After clicking the entrance at the start of the page, Ookamuro will appear staring at the player. Nn ominous ambiance plays in the background and gradually progresses to what sounds like some sort of growling/moaning.
There are five buttons in the bottom left corner which will progress the game. If the player clicks the fifth button, they will get jumpscared by Yukie who will crawl towards them with a moaning or groaning sound. However, she does not harm the player, and only removes the fifth button.
Redirections [ ]
To proceed the game, the player is required to press one of the four buttons. Each one redirects to a different .html site.
- The first button redirects to Elizabeth.html, another branching page.
- The second button redirects the player to Chaos.html, also a branching page.
- The third button redirects the player to Heven.html, a dead end page.
- The fourth button redirects the player to Eden.html, which in turn can lead them to Paradisky.html.
- The fifth button leads to Yukie jumpscaring the player.
Upon opening this page, there’s a chance that the player will be instantly redirected to an alternate version that contains Cursed Doll; this version contains only four redirects instead of five, and the dots are replaced by mirrors. The page will still redirect to the same content, but lacks Yukie’s jumpscare.

Old Version [ ]
This page has three notable old versions listed below.
First Version [ ]
The oldest version of the page, 2arcfancymain.html, was different but similar in layout to the current main page. The page was bright red, and instead of Ookamuro, Mitsumeru Onna appeared staring at the player. Below her, repeating text that read «ごめんなさい (Gomen’nasai/(I’m sorry)» could be seen, and instead of five white dots there were four black squares below the text. The squares led to 3arcsemaru.html, 4arcninoma.html, 5arcyajirushihidari.html, and 6arcyajirushimigi.html.
Second Version (2012-Late 2013) [ ]
The second version of this page was much different; Ookamuro’s face was less detailed, there were four buttons instead of five, resulting in Yukie’s absence from the page, and the buttons that currently lead to Eden.html and Heven.html led to Edenyas.html and Hevens.html respectively. Additionally, for a short amount of time in late 2012, the fourth button redirected to Edenya.html. Not much is known about the page since it was never archived, though it was likely another mirror of Eden.html.
Third Version (Late 2013-September 2019) [ ]
In late 2013, the page was changed to be Flash-based instead of using basic HTML, and Yukie was also added to the page, appearing when the player hovered over Ookamuro. This version of the page was the primary version used until the HTML5 revamp.
