By the end of this course, you’ll understand the benefits of programming in IT roles; be able to write simple programs using Python; figure out how the building blocks of programming fit together; and combine all of this knowledge to solve a complex programming problem. We’ll start off by diving into the basics of writing a computer program. Along the way, you’ll get hands-on experience with programming concepts through interactive exercises and real-world examples. You’ll quickly start to see how computers can perform a multitude of tasks — you just have to write code that tells them what to do. . Просмотреть все

This is actually a really great start for beginners in python. I am an intermediate python developer so for me it was too basic, but still a nice refresher for all the basics that we sometimes forget.

Course presentation is good. Topic selection is good. Selected Strings, Lists, tuples and Dictionaries, using these program logic can be build. Examples are good and interesting. assignments are good.

Fun videos, crappy teaching. You would be better off getting a good book on python and skip the google torture. Very, very buggy; site programming failed on numerous instances. I graduated B.S. Computer Science with high honors and hold multiple degrees in the sciences. There are better ways to learn programming.

its super hard to follow if you are newbie in programming especially haven’t code in python. The example the instructor gave are so simple but when it come to quiz its super hard. Please fix this, we need practice from simpler task up to more complex task.

This course was poorly created. The explanations of each section were understandable; but, the assignments were horrendous. Thank God for the «Discussion Forums» and the students who provided solutions.

I wish it had been a little more clear, the week 6 assignment was extremely tough because a lot of us couldn’t get the browse button to show up and the code was very tough for what we learned.

The presenter is clear and visually appealing. In my opinion, which is similar to many others, is that the course quizzes and exercises do not match up with the instruction provided. The instruction is minimal but the quizzes are 10x more difficult and do not seem to mesh well with what is taught.

Advice to students who need this course to obtain a certificate: Learn python somewhere else and then take this course once you have a solid understanding of python.

Searching Google is for answers was not the type of learning experience I was looking for.

The answers to the tests are right, but if you don’t write the code out just like the test wants it, it can be very frustrating. I don’t think the creators of this program know anytihng about pedagogy. This was too much frustration for teaching one simple programming language.

The worst course I’ve ever taken. They don’t teach you anything and the info they give you doesn’t match quizzes. I’m surprised this course has such high rating. Strong PASS.

I couldn’t follow up in the second week of the course. My opinion it’s just too difficult for beginners

From the very beginning, the course structure was clear and easy to follow. Each lesson was broken down into manageable chunks, and the accompanying videos were engaging and informative. The course material was presented in a way that was easy to understand, even for someone with no previous programming experience.

I particularly appreciated the way the course built upon itself, starting with the basics of Python syntax and gradually introducing more advanced concepts as the course progressed. This made it easy for me to understand and retain the material, and I felt a sense of accomplishment as I moved through the course.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this course and feel that I have gained a strong foundation in Python programming as a result. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn Python, whether they are a beginner or more experienced programmer. Thank you to the Google instructors and the Coursera team for putting together such a well-organized and engaging course.

I recently took the Crash Course on Python and I have to say it was a great experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the material in a clear and concise manner. The course was well-structured and covered a wide range of topics, including basic syntax, data types, and object-oriented programming. I particularly appreciated the hands-on exercises and projects, which helped me to apply what I was learning and solidify my understanding of the concepts. Overall, I highly recommend this Python crash course to anyone looking to learn the language quickly and effectively.

The teacher is just amazing! if I’m gonna be a teacher, I am gonna be one like her. She’s very enthusiastic and makes it more comfortable to learn. Overall the course was great, the assignments can be very tricky and hard for someone new to programming. The final assignment was tough especially since I wasn’t familiar with Jupyter notebook but it all worked out, def needs some patience. It was overall worth it, Thank you google, Thank you coursera!

Fantastic course for the novice programmer wanting to learn the basics of Python. Videos were high-quality, up-to-date, and engaging. The best part of the course was the hands-on approach it took to programming. You got to consistently write REAL code to perform computing tasks. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to get more familiar with the foundational aspects of Python.

I’ve joined the course, having programming background, but it was 30 years ago 🙂 I did procedure programming and the OOP opened for me a new world. I don’t know, if I’ll be working as a software engineer, but now I’m sure, that my project management work will become more efficient and automated. Thanks a lot! Excellent teacher and efficient metodology.

Firstly, I believe that this course wil not cover all the things, So after some time lose energy to keep this on. But after 3 weeks of lecture I understand this course is amazing regardless of not going deep into this.

Thank you Instuctor Ma’am to explain it in a cool way as you are.

A lot of thanks to Coursera and Google to provide such courses.

I had so much fun in this course. At times it was a bit challenging but pushing through was an exciting battle. Even though I have been doing coding in the past, I’ve learnt a lot of new techniques in this course. Sometimes it’s good to just start over.

Really excellent course put together by Google. Fantastic introduction to Python concepts, tons of coding exercises, and an active course maintenance staff make this a great course. Highly recommend.

A great course to introduce the fundamentals of python to beginner programmers, and even experienced programmers new to this language. It was fun, with concepts and structure was easy to understand.

Content, Explanations of concept, practice quiz and questions are really of good standards. Learn lots of new concept from this course which really going to help me in my profession.

Well made and you can take your own pace since your results are checked by a computer rather than waiting for peer-reviews saving you time and makes the flow to the next objectives easier.

Thank you for this course! I really liked the teaching style with the short exercises in video and practice exercises, which helped me to learn basics and clear my doubts in programming.

All the exercise’s were fun and challenging. At some times confusing because formatted output were not included for all the questions in all exercise. Otherwise all in all totally fun.

Thanks for the very well made course. I like the structure of the videos and text to read-along with. The prompts within the video to make sure you’re listening was a nice addition.

Although there are some areas that have really confused me, I managed to figure out where I was getting confused thanks to the video explanations and helpful comments within scripts.

Very straight forward class. I like the structure of the videos and text to read-along with. The prompts within the video to make sure you’re listening was a nice addition.
